Hello,
Leona Group managed schools are dedicated to providing students with a high-quality education. All of our schools are striving to educate and improve the life chances for the young people we serve on a daily basis. In this season of giving, we know there are those of you who wish to help even more. In Arizona, you have the option of allocating part of your taxes directly to Leona Group managed schools. Individuals can receive up to a $200 tax credit and married couples can get up to a $400 tax credit each year. In return, you will receive a dollar-for-dollar credit on your State of Arizona Income Tax and a charitable donation credit on your federal tax return. Tax credit donations are non-refundable. Please select KEF DBA Havasu Preparatory Academy under "School Name". Your donation will help our students go on field trips to local colleges. Thank you in advance for your generosity. Please click here to donate today. Please share this with family and friends who may want to donate.

The Internet of Things is here to stay, and it’s part of your kids’ lives, too! So-called smart toys are Wi-Fi enabled, allowing children to interact in much more sophisticated ways than we could with the robotic dolls and remote-controlled cars of our own younger days. They come with bigger privacy concerns, too, including cameras and microphones that capture (and share) data when you might not know it. With the holidays just around the corner, we have some common-sense tips to keep in mind if your kids unwrap any Internet-connected playthings:
Winter Break at HPA is from December 24th to January 7th.
See you Tuesday, January 8th. Have a fun and safe break! The kindness bug has hit the 3rd grader in Mrs. Gates's class, thanks to our kindness Elf, Marshmallow. The 3rd graders were working hard on holiday cards that will be delivered to the Jasmine House, as well as nice letters to our fellow classmates. We love filling our hearts by spreading kindness and cheer. Thank you to Dr. Kerri Anne Loyd and ASU Havasu for setting up Havasu Prep’s 7th/8th grade class with a specimen observation study and an earthworm dissection.
HPA Families, Volunteers are still needed for out PTSO fundraiser at Movies Havasu this weekend. Please sign up using SignUp Genius and searching Mrh@havasuprep.com or clicking on the picture. Thank you for your support
