Patriotic Adventures Elementary Classes (PACE Club)
The Patriotic Americans for Constitutional Education are a non-profit, non-partisan organization in Lake Havasu City dedicated to engendering and teaching patriotism among the youth. PACE has provided these free after school classes for seven years. The classes feature instruction about the founding fathers, famous quotations, patriotic songs, and an introduction to the U.S. Constitution and citizenship. Patriotic Club (PACE) starts on Thursday, January 25th.
Havasu Preparatory Academy has participated with the PACE organization since 2011. Mrs. Tina Whitehouse facilitates the first and second grade group, Mrs. Dana Mills facilitates the third and fourth grade group, and Mrs. Rhonda Gates facilitates the fifth and sixth grade group. The students met for twelve weeks. The classes wrap up with a public stage presentation at the LHHS Performing Arts Center, where students display their knowledge and skills.
Havasu Preparatory Academy is proud to participate with the PACE organization and to be able to facilitate this learning opportunity for our students. We would like to thank the PACE organization and Mrs. Whitehouse, Mrs. Mills, and Mrs. Gates for facilitating.
